Calling a 2-track release an EP is bold, but bold is a perfect word to describe Justicar, & despite the short track quantity, the release digests like an EP. Robust & substantive enough to not feel like a single, while short enough to leave a listener hungry for a fulllength. Absolutely ripping, catchy, expertly-executed guitar work; present, clanky, meaty bass; airtight drumming; & soaring, broad-ranged vocals. Strikes an excellent balance between feeling fresh, & like classic power metal.
